Commercial Sales and Leasing Consultant

The position presents an excellent opportunity for a commercial Sales and Leasing Consultant to join our successful team. In this position, you would be responsible for the commercial sale and leasing activities of the Fitzpatricks PCI Commercial Department, while overseeing the management of a small portfolio of commercial and industrial properties. You would form part of an experienced team, supported by commercial management, administration and marketing staff, working in a modern, well-resourced office.

The duties of the commercial sales and leasing consultant include:

  • Liaise and build cohesive relationships with core clientele – investors, property owners and tenants
  • Prospecting activities
  • Conduct listing and sales appraisals
  • Lease and sale negotiation
  • High level management of a portfolio of commercial and industrial properties
  • Oversee property maintenance and lease renewals
  • Oversee rent arrears management

To be effective in this role, you will be expected to have:

Essential:

  • excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • experience working in a commercial sales, leasing, property management or financial field
  • professional manner and personal presentation
  • experience using Microsoft Office Suite
  • a current drivers licence

Desirable:

  • tertiary education in a property, valuation, business or financial discipline
  • a current Certificate of Registration or Real Estate Licence in any state, or Statement of Attainment in real estate practice
  • a strong sense of loyalty and a personal accountability approach to your work
  • self-motivation, initiative and the ability to work in a team environment

Client Service & Leasing Consultant

In this position, you would be responsible for providing professional client service to new and existing clients visiting and calling our agency in addition to new clients seeking a rental property. Whilst providing accurate and timely administrative support to our property management team, always embracing and working within our six core values – Caring; United; Be There; Energetic; Ground Breaking and Own It.

The responsibilities of this position include:

  • Counter and phone reception – providing customer service excellence
  • Assist with rental inquiries and tenancy application completion
  • Prepare Residential Tenancy Agreement documentation
  • Register and attend leasing inspections as required
  • Key Tracker program management
  • Listing portal uploads and management
  • Log incoming maintenance requests when required
  • Process vacate notices
  • Mail and supplies management
  • Administrative support to the property management team as required

Essential:

  • Exceptional communication skills and enjoy contact with people
  • Professional personal presentation, manner and dialogue
  • Ability to multi-task and maintain a high attention to detail
  • Experience using Microsoft Office Suite
  • Have a current NSW driver’s licence
  • Be an Australian citizen
  • Enjoy a supportive role within a team environment

Desirable:

  • Certificate of Registration in Real Estate, or completion of the COR course
  • Experience using database software

Residential Sales Consultant

In this position you would be responsible for real estate listing sales duties in accordance with the objectives of the Sales Department of Fitzpatricks Real Estate, both in respect to clients and Fitzpatricks Real Estate processes, systems, data, knowledge, client lists and goodwill.

The responsibilities of this position include:

  • Carry out prospecting activities
  • Conduct listing and sales presentations
  • Conduct open house presentations
  • Communication with vendors and potential purchasers
  • Database management

Essential:

  • Proven track record in a sales environment
  • Sound written & oral communication skills
  • Excellent people management and negotiation skills
  • Established time management and organisation skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Office software
  • Current drivers licence

Desirable:

  • Demonstrate initiative indicative of the ability to become part of an integrated team of people committed to a harmonious workplace and superior customer service
  • Certificate of Registration or Statement of Attainment in Real Estate Practice
  • Social Media marketing experience
  • Data Base Experience
