Lyn Kimball receives top honours from the Real Estate Institute of NSW

Last Friday Lyn Kimball was awarded top honours when she received the Real Estate Institute of NSW (REINSW) John Hill Award for her commitment to the REINSW. This award is based on contribution to a chapter of the Institute (eg property management; sales; strata; commercial etc) with the award recipient specifically chosen by the President of the REINSW.

At the State Conference last Friday, Mr Steve Martin (President) presented Lyn with the award. Lyn said she was not remotely expecting to receive the award and felt extremely humble and honoured to have been selected for such a prestigious award.

The Award is given for service and contribution to the Institute at Chapter level. Lyn has been on the Property Management Chapter Committee since 2001, and has been the Chairperson for the past 2 years. Lyn said that she has thoroughly enjoyed her time serving on the committee – “it is a wonderful experience, and you get to see the industry from a state and national perspective – particularly in regard to legislation and changes across the board that influence our part (property management) of the real estate sector” she said. Chris Fitzpatrick (past President) said “Chapter chairpersons are a high calibre appointment to the REI, so Lyn has topped a very impressive list of agents”.

“I humbly accept the award, and thank Fitzpatricks Real Estate and the REINSW for giving me the opportunity to grow & develop in this ever challenging and changing industry.” Lyn said.

Lyn’s ongoing commitment and dedication to real estate over the years has now been recognised at state level, and we congratulate her on this award, it is well deserved.
